Sustainability on course: HADAG celebrated the christening of the second hybrid ferry “Finkenwerder” in the Port of Hamburg.

On October 3, the second hybrid ferry in the HADAG Seetouristik und Fährdienst AG fleet was transferred to Hamburg on its own keel - at very short notice in order to make the most of the falling water levels. The transfer marks another milestone in our HADAG project!

What a week! From September 3 - 6, we were represented at the SMM in Hamburg with our subsidiaries BREDO DRY DOCKS, SET Schiffbau- u. Entwicklungsgesellschaft Tangermünde, Lloyd Werft, Stahlbau Nord, Arthur Friedrichs Industriebedarf and Pitzner Industrieservice.

On Monday, July 8, we proudly welcomed Saxony-Anhalt's Minister President Reiner Haseloff to the SET shipyard in Tangermünde. Full order books, a lack of competition and much more - all this was discussed during the two-hour tour.

On June 21, the second of three hybrid-powered ferries for Hamburg's ferry fleet was launched.

Since 1991, our subsidiary SET has delivered a total of 211 ships. Now construction number 212 has also entered the water.
