Exemplary Training Companies 2017

The SET Schiffbau- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft Tangermünde mbH was awarded the “Exemplary Training Company”-Award: The Magdeburg Chamber of Trade annually gives out this award for initiative and creativity in vocational training.

The award honors exemplary training companies, makes them known to the public and is meant to encourage other companies to offer training.

The following criteria are assessed:

  • Continuous taking on of trainees and successful guidance until completion of the final examination
  • Initiative for improving quality and attractivity of training, i.e. offering additional qualification, training alliances, and effective and suitable assignment of trainees
  • Continued education to reach the qualification of master craftsman
  • Initiatives for employment orientation and recruiting of young talents
  • Activities in collaboration with schools
